Caring for the Caregivers
Caregiving can be a rewarding and gratifying experience but it takes patience, understanding, and considerable energy to fulfill that role. That’s why it isn’t a luxury to take care of yourself…it’s a necessity. Let our skilled coaches help with the many aspects of caregiving, starting with self-care. Because without you, who will step in? We’ll help with support, education and training to make your work easier and more enjoyable. We’ll develop an individual care plan that will address issues and offer skills, techniques, and social activities that encompass your loved one’s interests and hobbies. Let us help you and the people you help.
We know caring for loved ones can be tiring and that sometimes breaking from routine is the only answer. We can provide skilled, caring staff to take over as needed any time day or night and provide you with a well deserved respite from daily caregiving concerns, giving you time to rest and revitalize.
Long Distance Care
Long distance between children and their aging parents creates a need for dependable support and reliable communication that we can provide to close the miles between families in a time of need. Our Geriatric Care Manager is available to assess a situation, confer with family and make recommendation to assure the safety of your loved one, when you can’t be there. You can rely on us to coordinate thoughtful and compassionate care.
We work with community businesses who provide elder care advise and assistance as part of their employee benefits. For employees with aging parents these elder care resources help to minimize lost time at work. Our trained staff will educate families on health care options and help them with their decision making…or working caregivers can contact us directly.
